Resetting your account password
Who is this article for?
Users who have forgotten their Mazlan Home credentials.
No special access or permissions are required.
If you lose access to your account and are unable to change your account password, you can still reset it to regain access.
This article shows you where you can update the password you sign in with.
Resetting a password
No access to account
MFA email disabled
To reset a password:
- Navigate to Mazlan Home.
- Click Forgot your password?
- You will either have to enter the Email or Username associated with your account.
Enter what the screen asks for.
Note
Email is case sensitive. You will need to enter the email exactly as what your user account is created with Mazlan Home. If you are not sure, please contact your organisation's administrator.
Username isn't case sensitive, but you need to make sure it is exactly as what your user account is created with in Mazlan Home. If you are not sure, please contact your organisation's administrator.
- Click Reset my password.
This will take you to a page where you will be asked to enter a code sent to your email. - Access the verification code email sent to you.
- Please copy the code from the email carefully, making sure not to include any extra spaces or line breaks before or after it.
- Paste it into the Code field.
- Enter a New password.
Your new password must:- contain a lower case letter
- contain an upper case letter
- contain a number
- contain at least 8 characters
- contain a special character or a space
- not contain a leading or trailing space
- Confirm it in the Enter new password again field.
- Click Change password.
You will be redirected to the sign in screen where you can enter your email address or username and new password to access Mazlan Home.
Important
Attempting to change your password more than 5 times in an hour will result in an error. If you encounter this error, wait an hour before trying again.
MFA email enabled
Important
In release 10.0.0, for organisations with email MFA enabled, the "Forgot your password?" option has been removed from the Mazlan Home sign-in screen. Users now need to reset their password using the temporary password flow instead.
If you are unable to log in to your account, you will need to request a password reset from the tenant administrator.

Follow the steps to changing your account password.

To reset your password:
- Log into the platform.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to the Account section.
- Click Reset password.
- Use the temporary password sent to your email to sign in next time.
