Changing your password in Ideagen Hub
Who is this article for?
Users using Hub's internal authentication, not external or corporate Single Sign-On.
No special access or permissions needed.
For better security, consider changing your account password regularly. This article explains how to update your password if you can currently access your account.
1. Changing a password
To change the password:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to the Account section.
- Click Change password.
- Enter your Current password.
- Provide a New password.
You will need to confirm it in the Confirm new password field. - Click Save changes.
Your password must:
- be at least 8 characters long
- contain one lowercase letter
- contain one uppercase letter
- contain one number
- contain one special character (e.g., @, #, $)
This may vary by your organization's settings. If your password doesn't meet their requirements, an error message will appear.
Changing your password more than 5 times in an hour causes an error. Please wait an hour before retrying.
