The article outlines the new features and improvements in the Ideagen Mazlan Home 10.0.0 release, available from 7 July 2026.
Features
Smarter login with Home Realm Discovery
Users signing in via Single Sign-On (SSO) using an External IdP can now enter their email first, and the system automatically signs in using the identity provider relevant to the user based on their email domain. This simplifies login for organizations with multiple identity providers.
To activate this feature, the tenant administrator must configure the identifiers (email domain) for each External IdP for the organization.
CSV Import enhancements: in-page guidance and import summary
The CSV Import experience has been improved with clearer guidance and better visibility of past imports:
- Required and optional columns are now clearly labelled within the CSV Import UI, with a field reference showing descriptions, expected formats, and valid values displayed inline.
- The import history screen now shows the file name of the uploaded CSV and the username of the administrator who performed the import. Previously uploaded files can also be re-downloaded directly from the import history.
Multi-lingual UI: French, Italian, and Spanish (Beta release)
Mazlan Home is now available in French, Italian and Spanish in addition to UK English and US English. Once logged in, the majority of labels, buttons, navigation items, tooltips, error messages, and validation messages are shown in the user's preferred language. This is a beta release. We welcome your feedback for further improvements.
To use the application in a different language, the tenant administrator can set a preferred language for each user through the Admin Console. Users can also update their own language preference.
If a translation is missing, the text will appear in UK English.
Note
The following items will remain in English regardless of selected language: the Mazlan Home login screen, Ideagen app names and descriptions, and audit trail report and email notifications.
Other updates
- Audit trail report timestamps now display in your profile timezone rather than UTC. The timezone is shown in the report header. If no timezone is set, timestamps fall back to UTC
Fixes
General
- Display Name is no longer overwritten by First Name and Last Name updates. Display name can only be updated by the signed-in user through Profile Settings. Any changes to the display name are recorded in the Audit Trail.
The first-login consent page has been updated. The dismiss button has been removed and the wording clarified, users must click "Proceed" to continue. Previously, closing the dialog would unexpectedly log the user out.
Users creation initiated via a connected app were incorrectly attributed to a system account in the Audit Trail report. The report now correctly records "Product" as the performer for these accounts.
Security
Fixed issues related to MFA settings and password reset flow:
- MFA settings are now hidden for external (SSO) users in User Management, where the toggle was previously visible but had no effect.
- Tenant Administrators can now reset passwords for MFA-enabled native users through a temporary password flow in User Management.
- For MFA-enabled native users, the "Change Password" option in Profile Settings has been renamed to "Reset Password" and now follows a temporary password flow.
- Newly created internal users in organisations with Email MFA enabled will receive updated welcome email content along with a temporary password email.
- For security reasons, internal users in organisations with Email MFA enabled will not see the "Forgot Password" option on the sign-in screen. To reset a password, users must contact their Tenant Administrator.
