Resetting your password
Who is this article for?
Users who have forgotten their Ideagen Hub credentials.
No special access or permissions are required.
If you lose access to your account and are unable to change your account password, you can still reset it to regain access.
This article shows you where you can update the password you sign in with if you do not currently have access to your account.
For customers who received a temporary password in email, these steps outlined will only work if you have previously signed in to Ideagen Hub. Otherwise, please contact us to reset your account.
1. Resetting a password
To reset a password:
- Navigate to Ideagen Hub.
- Click Forgot your password?
- You will either have to enter the Email or Username associated with your account.
Enter what the screen asks for.
Email is case sensitive. You will need to enter the email exactly as what your user account is created with in Hub. If you are not sure, please contact your organisation's Administrator.
Username
Username is case insensitive, but you need to make sure it is exactly as what your user account is created with in Hub. If you are not sure, please contact your administrator
- Click Reset my password.
This will take you to a page where you will be asked to enter a code sent to your email. - Access the verification code email sent to you.
- Please copy the code from the email carefully, making sure not to include any extra spaces or line breaks before or after it.
- Paste it into the Code field.
- Enter a New password.
Your new password must:- contain a lower case letter
- contain an upper case letter
- contain a number
- contain at least 8 characters
- contain a special character or a space
- not contain a leading or trailing space
- Confirm it in the Enter new password again field.
- Click Change password.
You will be redirected to the sign in screen where you can enter your email address or username and new password to access Ideagen Hub.
