Changing your profile settings

Users looking to change their profile details.
No special access or permissions are required.
While the Administrator is likely to set up your profile when creating your account, you may want to change some of the details down the line.
This article shows you where you can make those updates.
Accessing profile settings
To access profile settings:
- Access Mazlan Home.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right of the screen.
- Select Profile.
- Click Edit profile.
Some fields, such as Company and Works on, cannot be changed as they are set by the Administrator during account creation.
Updating profile settings
To update profile settings:
- Make required changes to any of the active fields.
Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. - Click Upload to add a photo of yourself.
Make sure the photo is at least 90 x 90 px. - Click Save changes.
You will see a confirmation message appear on the screen to let you know your updates were saved.
Understanding profile settings fields
| Fields | What it does |
| Profile Photo | Upload a personal photo to help teammates recognise you. The image must be at least 90 × 90 px and no larger than 5 MB. Click Upload to add a photo or Remove to revert to your initials avatar. |
| Display Name | The name shown to other users across Mazlan Home. This is a required field. |
| Pronouns | Your preferred pronouns, selectable from a dropdown. This is optional. |
| First Name | Your given name. This is a required field. |
| Last Name | Your family name. This is a required field. |
| Role | Your job title or role within your organisation. This is optional. |
| Language | Your preferred display language for the Mazlan Home interface. Select from the supported languages: English (UK), English (US), Español, Français, or Italiano. This is a required field. |
| Time Zone | Your local timezone. Mazlan Home uses this to display timestamps in your local time. This is a required field. |
| About me | A short personal bio visible to other users. This is optional. |
Common questions
Why can't I edit my email address ? Your email address are typically managed by your organisation's Tenant Administrator or linked to your identity provider (SSO). Contact your administrator if you need these updated.
Will my Display Name update everywhere in Mazlan Home? Yes. Your Display Name is used across the platform and will reflect your latest saved value immediately after saving.
What happens if I remove my profile photo? Your profile will revert to displaying your initials on a coloured background, which is the default avatar in Mazlan Home.
