Changing your account password

Users using Mazlan Home's internal authentication, not external or corporate Single Sign-On.
No special access or permissions needed.
For better security, consider changing your account password regularly. This article explains how to update your password if you can currently access your account.
Changing a password
Email MFA not enabled
You can directly change your password if you are using a username and password to sign in to Mazlan Home and Email multi-factor authentication (MFA) is not enabled for your organisation.
To change the password:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to the Account section.
- Click Change password.
- Enter your Current password.
- Enter a New password.
Your new password must:- contain a lower case letter
- contain an upper case letter
- contain a number
- contain at least 8 characters
- contain a special character or a space
- not contain a leading or trailing space
- You will need to confirm it in the Confirm new password field.
- Click Save changes.
Important
Changing your password more than 5 times in an hour causes an error. Please wait an hour before retrying.
Email MFA enabled
For users with email MFA enabled, the Change Password button is replaced with Reset Password button.
Users can now self-reset their password using the temporary password flow instead.
Authenticator app MFA enabled
For users with authenticator app MFA enabled, you will have to enter an additional code from your authenticator app when you change your password
