Information for validated and long-term support (LTS) customers
Who is this article for?
Customers on validated and long-term support (LTS) environments.
No special access or permissions are required.
As you prepare to migrate to Ideagen Mazlan Home, we want to be upfront about how Mazlan Home works and what that means for you as a customer operating in a validated or long term support environment.
We know that for many of you, software validation is not optional. Your quality management system depends on it, your regulators expect it and your internal processes are built around it. We respect that, and we want to give you a clear picture of what to expect so you can plan accordingly.
Working with Mazlan Home
Ideagen Mazlan Home is an add-on to your existing validated products. It is not a replacement for them.
Your core Ideagen applications (such as Ideagen Quality Management • Professional, Ideagen Quality Management • Core and Ideagen Please Review) continue to be released on the validated or long-term support (LTS) cadence you are familiar with.
This happens typically once or twice a year, following independent validation testing. That does not change.
Mazlan Home operates as the centralised authentication layer, providing single sign-on, identity management and user provisioning for those applications. As a SaaS web application, Mazlan Home is always up to date, where all customers always run the same version, with no separate builds or installations to manage.
This allows us to deliver improvements, security updates and new capabilities to all customers quickly and consistently.
Release cadence
Currently, Mazlan Home releases regularly on a monthly cadence.
In addition to regular releases, we may issue patch releases at short notice when we identify a critical or high-severity bug. These patches are essential to maintaining the security and stability of the platform.
We understand this is a shift from what you are used to.
To make this manageable for validated environments:
- If you have already subscribed to an existing Ideagen validation pack, you will receive updated documentation including Mazlan Home via CompliancePath
- AI-powered features are disabled by default for regulated customers ensuring that it is not inadvertently used within validated environments.
- You will receive in-app notifications in Mazlan Home with details on upcoming releases.
Considerations for assessment
As Mazlan Home is a shared platform layer serving all customers, there is no separate pre-release site made available for customer testing ahead of release. Post CompliancePath testing, updates are deployed to the live environment for all customers on the same day.
We recommend your team build your change assessment approach around this by reviewing release notes and applying your own risk-based testing after each release, rather than relying on pre-release validation.
