How to access Luminate Skills with your Ideagen Luminate account

Customers who previously accessed Luminate Skills.
No special access or permissions are required.
Luminate Skills now requires an Ideagen Luminate account for access, replacing the previous separate login system.
1. Understanding the changes to Luminate Skills access
Previously, Ideagen Luminate Community and Ideagen Luminate Skills existed as two separate systems with two separate accounts required to use each. A separate account is no longer needed to access our e-learning courses and curriculums.
As of 1 June 2026, logging into Luminate Skills with your username and password will no longer work. You must now access Luminate Skills through an Ideagen Luminate account.
2. Understanding what an Ideagen Luminate account is
An Ideagen Luminate account (previously called a Luminate Community account) now encompasses both Community and Skills access, with future integrations planned.
If you previously used Luminate Community and posted a question or response in the forums, you already have an Ideagen Luminate account and there is nothing you need to do.
3. Signing in with an existing Ideagen Luminate account
To sign in with your existing account:
- Navigate to Ideagen Luminate.
- Click the Sign in button at the top right of the page if the window does not automatically appear.
- Enter the credentials you created previously.
4. Creating a new Ideagen Luminate account
If you have never used Community forums but have used Skills, you must create a new Ideagen Luminate account to continue your access and maintain your learning history.
Important: Use the same email address you used to sign up to Skills. We use this to link your Luminate account to your learner profile.
To create a new account:
- Navigate to Ideagen Luminate.
- Click the Sign in button at the top right of the page if the window does not automatically appear.
- Select the Sign up tab.
- Fill in the required details.
- Verify your email address to activate your account.
Once activated, you will have access to Skills as long as you have been granted access as part of your Success Plan.
5. Understanding why a new account is required
Due to data-related issues, we could not create equivalent accounts on a separate system without your permission. This one-time requirement allows you to continue your access and maintain your training history.
Creating an Ideagen Luminate account allows us to understand you more as a customer and provide you with tailored access to the content you need to be successful with your Ideagen solution(s).
