This article gives answers to questions commonly asked by our Customers.
1. Do I need a new account?
Yes.
Luminate Skills requires an account to enrol in and complete e-learning courses.
Follow the instructions to signing up and in to Ideagen Luminate Skills to set one up!
2. How do I change my credentials?
If you have access to the account, follow the steps to change your account details.
If you have forgotten your password and don't have access to the account, follow the instructions to recover an existing account.
3. How do I find courses?
You can browse our curriculums in the course catalogue by selecting your solution from the picker.
Courses and curriculum are added often so make sure you take a look to see what’s new!
4. Why am I getting an error message when I sign in?
Please make sure that you have entered the correct credentials, and that no background autofill software is running in the background of your browser.
Ensure you are using your business email to sign up for Luminate Skills.
5. I’ve tried signing up but it says I already have an existing account?
If you’ve already created an account you can use your username/email and password to log in.
If you have forgotten your password and don't have access to the account, follow the instructions to recover an existing account.
6. My solution is not in the catalogue
If your solution does not yet have any content - don’t worry. Please check back in periodically to see if we have added content for you!
7. I have Ideagen Academy, is this the same thing?
Luminate Skills is a self-sign up portal designed for end users of our solutions. You do not have to have Academy to be able to use and benefit from Luminate Skills.
Ideagen Academy is an LMS tool used and governed by your company. It hosts some Ideagen courses, but also may have compliance and mandatory training created by your company that you need to take.
Learning on Luminate Skills will not be shared with Academy, nor will any Academy administrator be able to view or change any of your information, and is an entirely separate platform.
8. I was logged out - why?
Luminate Skills has an auto time out feature for your privacy and security. If you have not moved pages or clicked to refresh the page in over 60 minutes, you will be automatically logged out.
9. Is this mobile compatible?
Whilst Luminate Skills will work with mobile devices, the content is best viewed from a PC or laptop.
This allows you to interact with and view the course as it was created and makes it more optimal and enjoyable experience.
