Navigating solution notifications

Users looking to understand their notifications.
No special access or permissions are required.
There are several different types of notifications that appear throughout Ideagen Hub to help you efficiently view, manage, and interact with the platform.
This article shows you where you can check, sort, and manage notifications for each solution.
1. Accessing notifications
There are several areas that house notifications.
1.1. Field notifications
Notifications for specific fields are displayed in the Actions required and Latest updates widgets.
Clicking either widget opens a side drawer on the right, displaying a detailed list of notifications.
Action required
- Displays notifications categorized as "Task".
- These tasks have a notification-type of "Task" and a due-date within the next 30 days.
- The reflected status is determined based on the task’s due date. Status can be "Overdue, Due today, Due tomorrow, Due this week, Due in 2 weeks, Due in 3 weeks or Due in a month".
- Completed tasks are automatically deleted by the system.
Latest updates
- Displays notifications with a notification-type of "Notification" or "Link".
- Only unread items are shown in this widget.
- Notifications are retained for 30 days before being automatically deleted.
1.2. All notifications
Notifications of all types are displayed in the area accessible by clicking the Bell icon.
Clicking the icon opens a side drawer on the right, displaying a detailed list of notifications that are retained for 30 days before being automatically deleted.
2. Filtering notifications
When viewing all notifications, you can filter them to help managing them easier.
2.1. Search
Use the Search box to filter notifications by title.
2.2. Sort
Use the Filter options to:
- Sort by "Due Date" for task-related notifications.
- Sort by "Date Received" for general notifications.
Sorting is available in both ascending and descending order.
By default, notifications are sorted by Due Today and Due This Week, but you can adjust the sorting order as needed.
2.3. Pagination
Use the page numbers at the bottom to navigate between results pages.
2.4. Action menu
Click the three-dot menu to access options to:
- Mark as Read/Unread
- Delete
2.5. Call-to-action
If a notification includes a valid link, clicking its title will redirect you to the specified product in a new tab.
